Ready to level up your indoor jungle? Say hello to Ficus altissima, aka the Lofty Fig (or Council Tree). This stunning houseplant is a total showstopper, rocking large, glossy leaves with vibrant, contrasting veins that brighten up any room. It starts as a charming little desktop sprout and rapidly transforms into a magnificent indoor tree if given plenty of light.

    Instructions:

These seeds grow slowly, so we recommend using the following to sow the seeds:

    To plant the seeds:

Select a light and well-draining potting medium(like coconut fiber), and water it until it is very wet. Add it to your planter of choice, sow the seeds on the surface of the soil, cover with a humidity dome and keep in a warm spot(a heat mat is ideal) and in bright, indirect light. Leave the dome on and let it do it's thing! Only open it about once a week to add water and make sure it stays consistently moist until the seeds germinate.

These Ficus varieties like bright, indirect light. For the adult plants, let the soil dry between waterings and fertilize every couple of weeks during the growing season.
