Extra tips or info: The more light, the more colorful the stems will be. When harvesting the leaves, cut at the base of the stem so the plant can produce more leaves. The leaves are best harvested before they get too big to give the best flavor(don't allow them to get over 12"). They are great in saladsor cooked.
